              AINIA is a Spanish non-profit technological centre formed  by companies in the food manufacturing sector and related industries (more than  700 food companies as active members), whose objective is the promotion of  innovation and technological development in the agro-food sector. AINIA has a very strong expertise in R&D, Technical Assistance;  Analysis; Training and Technology Transfer. During the last year near 200  R&D projects (national and international) were developed, as well as a high  number of consulting and training activities.  |

              The Spanish Food and Drink Industry  Federation (FIAB) was created in 1977 to represent, through a single  organisation and a single voice, the Spanish industry of food and drinks, the  first industrial sector of our country. Presently, it encompasses 47 sector  associations representing nearly 90% of the sector’s turnover.  |

              ACTIA is a non-profit organisation, created upon the  joint initiative of the French Ministry of Agriculture and the French Ministry  of Research in 1983, and grouping today 28 technical private and non profit  centres providing services to French industrial companies in food and drink  sector. ACTIA association is providing many services to its member technical  centres aiming to increase their research, development and innovation capacity  in order to maintain a high quality of services provided to industrial  companies.  |

              IFIP is the Technical Institute of the French pork Industry. IFIP directed R  & D studies on all main issues of the pork sector (Genetics, Breeding  Techniques, Fresh and processed Meats, Economy). IFIP is a non-profit  organization whose turnover is around 11M€ in 2012. The board of IFIP is  composed by all French professional organizations of pork industry. The aim of  IFIP is to promote economical and technical references to help decisions-making  of the professional and economic organizations of the sector. Competitiveness,  environmental efficiency, quality and safety of products are the main topics of  activities. Most of the projects of IFIP are for collective purpose but a  significant part is also private. IFIP is regularly involved in European  projects and in international cooperation.               The University of Torino (DEIAFA) is one of the most ancient and prestigious Italian Universities. It has about 70.000 students, 4.000 academic, administrative and technical staff, 1800 post-graduate and post-doctoral students and 120 buildings in different parts of Torino and in key places in Piemonte; the University of Torino can be considered as “city-within-a-city”, promoting culture and producing/creating research, innovation, training and employme The University of Torino has a remarkable tradition of research in traditional subjects such as history, philosophy, law, economics and medicine but it is currently branching out into important modern sectors, such as food science, social politics, IT, performing arts, etc. The University makes an active stand on a number of social issues, such as environment, drugs, equal opportunities and rights of people with special needs. It also acts at an international level through partnership arrangements with India, China, developing countries in Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean Area and with a number of international organizations.               Tecnoalimenti was funded in 1981 on Italian Research Ministry volunteer for promoting, co-ordinating and executing industrial research in agri-food sector, Tecnoalimenti is a SME juridically established as a non-profit research consortium of 28 food sector industries and one financial institution, San Paolo IMI, as trustee of ministerial funds. Its member industries account for 12% of Italian food sales. In 30 years of activity, the organisation acquired high level skills in: (i) research project set-up and management, (ii) carrying out scientific studies on food chains, applicability and eco-compatibility of research results, cost-benefits of new processes and interpretation of data and (iii) dissemination activities at national and international level through its wide industrial network. Representing a unique Italian industrial platform which integrates  horizontally and vertically the main industrial players of the food chain,  Tecnoalimenti is often required to play also the role of stakeholder of the  agro-food industry. Tecnoalimenti has a wide experience in networking  industries (large and SMEs) for research activities, due to its institutional  function of bridging industry and research players. Further, Tecnoalimenti  participated/participates to food chain projects with a specific role of  carrying out studies, training activities, steering and animating Industrial  Platforms, thanks to its wide experience in approaching food SMEs (e.g.  IP-Healthgrain, IP-Traceback, CP-Baseline). Tecnoalimenti has acquired skills  in technological transfer of research results towards agro-food industries,  managing IPR issues and commercial issues linked with royalties. Active member  of the Italian Food for Life ETP, SerIT and member of EARTO.  |

              The  Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG - based  in Berlin provides training and further education for decision-makers,  engineers, technicians, sales staff, investors and developers in the areas of  renewable energy and energy efficiency. RENAC’s objective is to disseminate the  expertise available  in  Germany   for  the  use   of  renewable  energy   and  energy  efficiency   technology, domestically  and  –   to  the  greatest   extent  -  internationally.  Since its establishment in 2008, RENAC  has   already successfully trained around 2200 participants from  106 countries in renewable energies and  energy efficiency and has a  vast  experience   in  conducting  workshops,   live  webinars  and   on-line  trainings. In addition to  technical aspects, RENAC also provides instruction on those topics which are  decisive for market growth and for the broader use of renewable energy like  economics, legal aspects, market monitoring, etc.  A   high  number  of   RENAC’s  trainings  are   performed  abroad  or   have  a  very   strong relation to  a  specific   country  or  region.   Within  the  framework   of  the  TREE   project   (www.tree-project.de)  which  is   supported  by  the   Federal  Ministry  for   the  Environment, Nature Conservation  and Nuclear Safety and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, RENAC  has developed international market studies for   the  participating  target   countries and a large training programme. Another recent example is the  ReGrid training programme (www.renac.de/en/projects/regrid)  aiming at the integration of large amounts of renewable energy into the grids  of the MENA region.               JTI -  Swedish Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering is an industrial research institute engaged in  research, development and information in the areas of agricultural engineering  and environmental technology. JTI has close links with trade and industry. In  collaboration with trade and industry, JTI produces results that can be  translated directly into real-life practice. With more than 40 years of R&D  regarding the biogas process, JTI is one of Scandinavia’s leading Research  Institutes in this area with one of northern Europe’s  top biogas laboratories. JTI also has developed and constructed a mobile biogas  plant for pilot studies, fully equipped with the latest instruments for  analysis that is one of a kind and unique in the world.  |

              FUNDEKO Sp. J. was founded in 2006 on the initiative of individuals specializing  in different fields of environment protection and European funds. Currently, the company  comprises a team of experts who have proved to have relevant professional  qualifications in the field of environmental studies, such as environmental  impact assessment, renewable energy (including biogas) and biodiversity  protection. Fundeko provides consulting and project services for public  administration institutions, at the levels of state and local government  (Ministry of Regional Development, Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of  Agriculture and Rural Development, Marshal's offices – regional government), as  well as for private parties. Over the years Fundeko has cemented its position  as a company, which provides highly rated evaluation reports on infrastructure projects  financed from EU funds and EU assistance programs.
